Gather & Grow Together Pre-Fair Event
Held four to six weeks prior to the fair for groups to meet each other and learn how to market their businesses at the fair and beyond.
- Keynote Speaker & Workshops
Each fair hosts a keynote guest speaker and one engaging 90-minute guest speaker workshop to attract larger audiences and educate participants on a wide variety of topics.

Fair Facts
| Fair Audience:
500-1,000 educated, mid- to upper-income, decision-making women, ages 30-60 looking for alternative resources and enrichment.
Fair Times:
Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Cooperative Partnership |
Fair provides:
- Direct contact with 500 - 1,000
women in your community.
- One six-foot table with white tablecoth and two chairs.
- Opportunity to apply for 45-minute speaking slot or demonstration.

Fair Marketing:
- Fair admission benefits local charity in exchange for promise of several hundred attendees and volunteers.
- Strong marketing campaign valued at $150,000 - $200,000.
- Exposure to thousands through fair advertising in area media like the Pioneer Press, Suburban Women Magazine, Remarkable Woman Magazine, Southern Lakes Newspapers, WLKG and The Week.
- 15,000 - 20,000 direct mail brochures and 200 posters.
- Each vendor & sponsor given 25 tickets with $100 rebate for 15 returned tickets.
- Recruitment of community groups to attend fair as group free of charge.

Participant provides:
- Quality materials, educational information
and engaging conversation for women’s
enrichment.
- Mailing list of 100 or more local women for confidential,
one-time direct mailing.
- Qualified staff or volunteers to attend to
booth during all Fair hours.
- Give an educational presentation or demonstration.

Applying to Fair:
- 80% of vendors must be from the surrounding community to participate.
- Application for membership into the cooperative includes
information about organization for review by
the WRF Advisory Circle and WRF staff.
- Applicants must have a product or service in the following areas: Holistic Health & Wellness, Retreats & Spas, Holistic Products, Organic Foods & Nutrition, Green Home & Organic Gardening, Empowerment & Counseling, Bodywork & Movement and Education.
